What's on your agenda for today? I am going to head to the College and grade my Scantrons from last night's exam. Then I will stop at a the Dollar Tree to pick up some Dixie cups for the kids at my friend's preschool. I have snow...

Today is one of those days where I don't have to work anywhere on-site, but I do have stuff to do. Mainly, I have to grade papers for the college class I teach and also get some transparencies turned into handouts. Actually, that...

I have about six papers lying on my bed, waiting to be graded. Once I'm done doing a little visiting, I will attack them. It's too early for wine, but I still grade pretty easily.
I could also be practicing guitar, as I'm going...

I've had a surprise visitor this past week. I thought my sunflowers were done, but I was greeted earlier in the week by this little fella, who decided to make an appearance before Winter comes and turns all of the sunflower plants...

It's 8:30 AM here in the San Francisco Bay Area and I am planning my day. I have leftover ribs and beans from a music gig last night, so lunch is set.
I'm going spend the morning grading in-class assignments from the College and...

Hey everyone. Hopefully we will get out of the house for a bit this weekend. I know we are going to church on Sunday, I can't wait for that. =) I'm hoping we can go to the park or something if it's not raining.
On Monday I have...

I was planning to grade about 15 of 30 papers last night, but it didn't happen. Our power went out at about 9:30, plunging our entire neighborhood into darkness. It was raining hard, but I don't know if the storm was...

I hope everyone is having a glorious Saturday morning. It's cloudy and cool here in Northern California, but I haven't seen any rain yet.
I spent an exciting morning snuggled in my bed grading the written part of a Psychology...

OK, maybe I'm being a bit Pollyannaish. It maybe be cloudy and snowing like heck where you are. Or raining in warm sheets down under. And it's supposed to rain here later this afternoon. But I'm noticing a nice sunny morning.
I...

I awoke the other day to find most of my balcony plants huddled against the wind and rain on my outside table. They must have heard me talking about the possibility of strong winds.
Then I thought I heard giggling (more like...

When I was a student, we have teachers who aren't professional and sometimes don't do their jobs properly that's why I've come up with an idea what if students are allowed to grade their teachers. This thought came to me so that...

I'm sitting here sipping my first cup of coffee. No interesting emails, so I'm responding to comments and visiting some random posts on MyLot.
Then I'll do a little work on the ADS 710s (vintage loudspeakers) I'm restoring and...

I haven't slept all night last night because a comment that one of my professors made disturbed me. I didn't think that her grading was fair and her comment, where she pretty much said that you cannot receive an A for a subjective...

I don't mind it at all. It is up to them to judge the best responses anytime. But it is a little bit strange to decide the best response within a day, in my opinion. I think it's not very fair as some people may give a better...
