I found some paper cutting scissors at Michael's today with the long throat design I was looking for, and I couldn't wait to try them out. I don't have any black paper so I used white. Done without a pattern in a freeform way....

I'm an artist of it. It's silhouette cutting with a scissor or knife. I use a scissor. Check out my website: www.mgcreativearts.com You can see a short video of me doing it, it's fun to watch. It's a lost art.
