The only reason I got up as early as I did is because...

As I was typing this post I noticed sleet has started here now. Suppose to...

Woke up to cloudy skies and a light rain. Then the rain turned to sleet for about an hour.
Seems like more birds flock to the feeder when the weather is not sunny.
A good day to stay inside. Got laundry done. A few phone calls....

We are expecting more heavy snow later tonight; but by the end of next week, it will be in the...

There is nothing any more miraculous than water to me. All living things have water in them. The human body is 60% to 70% water and is necessary for all
life. In its liquid state, we drink it and bathe in it and use it in...

I know many of you don't like snow and consider it a bad four letter word. This is not a post about my infatuation with snow, but to tell you about snow.
I've been conversing with @rebelann about snow and though I've grown up...

I've been watching traffic. Some travels at normal speed, some slow. Salt trucks went by a couple times and maintenance was out salting the sidewalk.
My friend came by and told me if I was going anywhere to be careful. It's...

It has been raining a steady cold rain all day since sunrise. The light dusting of snow we had this morning has been washed away. The question folks around here are asking now is, "Will the roads freeze tonight or will they stay...

If it would just snow, it would be good. However, they are talking again about snow turning to rain/sleet for tonight into tomorrow.
I know it's coming. I can feel it in every joint and muscle in my body. It's not the flu,...

Most of the time hubby packs his own lunch, but I was going to do it, since I needed to pack for me as well. This is my Reuben casserole. There is enough here now for three lunches. I packed one for him.
