I've never taken a standardized test using accommodations. But I have to take the GRE and the MCAT soon and I've heard that most people run out of time taking these tests. Which doesn't look good for me because I am a very slow...

I'm in college studying to be an English teacher, and discussion of standardized tests comes up a lot. Do you guys think that they're a good idea or not? Why?
