They said it was going to be brutally cold today and I don’t think they were wrong. Right now it is a nice 1F (-17C) with winds at 18mph making the temperature feel like -17F (-27C).

I only got about a 12-minute walk, because even though my computer thermometer says it's "only" 78 degrees, it feels hotter. My face is sweaty.

And it's warm out there already. I need to water my plants, then stay inside. I'm glad I didn't have to drag my cart to the food bank today, but next week is likely to be hot too--we are heading for June.

Here it's been pretty smoky in the air--aside from walking Angel, I will likely stay in tomorrow.
Tomorrow I'll likely do some more housework--I got some of that and a bit of yardwork...

I finished everything I was doing in the kitchen, and went out to get the humming bird feeder that was empty.
When I looked at the thermometer above the deck, I was surprised to see that it said it was ninety degrees outside....
