Qandeel Baloch, a Pakistani model was drugged and then strangled by her own brother because she was bringing disgrace to the family by being herself. Is this where we are going now?

I am really saddened right now. A student from my university, Pace University in downtown Manhattan was found in his apartment strangled and with plastic in his mouth. I first heard about this when my mother was watching the news...
