I've noticed in reading the discussions on this site, that posters really let their hair down. They argue, confess, spill their guts and talk a lot about things people usually keep secret. I am doing it too. Why do we do this?

I want to know.. when you have a really big secret to tell: you won a huge lottery, you're pregnant, you cheated on your spouse, you eloped, you scored a huge raise, etc.. who do you tell? Your siblings? A parent? A best friend?...
