I have trigger finger in the middle finger of my right hand. It locks up on me pretty often and is painful. Have you any experience with trigger finger or know any good home remedies for the condition?

Surgery for a trigger finger

I think I have a trigger finger (only its my thumb). I can't bend my thumb very well and it hurts. Kind of locks into place. I have heard that surgery is about the only option. If so is it expensive and what is all involved...
