Glad I Saw 'Em. It's a musical series about musicians that I was lucky enough to see in concert, because they are now deceased. So far, I've featured acts that I absolutely love, but these last four were extremely special to me. I...

For those who have not heard of Pete. Welcome to a voice you will never forget. Just something there.

I know that I'm really bringing the Christmas spirit down with this series, Favorite "Dead" Songs. But what the heck, right? #9 in this countdown belongs to Type O Negative's "Everyone I Love is Dead."
Type O Negative formed in...

Formed in the late 1980's, Brooklyn's Type O Negative effectively ended in 2010 when bassist/vocalist Peter Steele died from heart failure.

Type O Negative ended after bassist/vocalist Peter Steele passed away (and rightly so. The charismatic Steele had one of rock music's all-time great voices and was irreplaceable.)
Despite their dark, gloomy sound, Type O Negative...

Overall, I think the new album is great. I love "The Profit of Doom" and "September Sun". I've seen them live twice, but it doesn't look as if I'm going to be able to see them during this particular tour (money's kinda an issue...

So what is everyone expecting from the new Type O Negative release slated for March of 2007? I haven't been able to get my hands on any samples or tracks yet so I can't say if it's going to lean towards October Rust or Bloody...
