Wordpress or blogger?

Which one is better to use feature wise?I used blogger to make some blogs but never used wordpress.I think wordpress is cool to use because of its features.But i want to ask a questions Which one will be preferred by search...

What application do you use for blogging?

What I mean is do you use a desktop application other than a browser for blogging? For example Windows Live Writer allow you to post a blog post to different kind of blog like Blogger, Wordpress etc.
