Was there another ending for this movie

Now the original ending to this film was...will smith makes it out alive with the lil woman and the little boy without the cure to save humanity. The New ending...he dies...but his work(the cure)...

What did you think about it? I think it's a good movie...I can't say great...but good. The human freaks...or dark seekers as they're known as in the movie, scared the crud out of me. They move fast!...

What's your favorite part of the movie? My favorite part is like after he locks them in the safe, runs away, and all that action. The movie was awesome in general though
