Joe Jackson is acting rather greedy after the demise of his son and probably before Michael's death. He don't need no $15,000 monthly to live off of for goodness sakes! All that money for his Vegas home and all that money to eat out everyday and whatever "entertainment" it is that he wants. He didn't seem all that upset when Michael Jackson died, and with all that speech about his record label or whatever right afterwards, but he seemed like he was pretty concerned over Michael's money. How come he thinks he should be living lavish off of money he didn't make or earn? Unless you wanna say that he helped Michael get to where he was by his strict ruling and making him practice over and over and beating the living hell out of him any chance he could get, otherwise he didn't do much at all. He failed to get famous or make a living off his own music so he basically tried to live his dreams through his children most notably M.J. It's obvious what his abuse did to Michael I mean all you had to do was take a passing glance to see Michael's bizarre behavior and some of the antics he pulled. I believe that Joe Jackson was a mean old SOB and how can you treat your children like that then expect them to wanna shower you with their hard earned cash? I didn't know Michael and I don't know Joe, but it is clear he has a thing for the green stuff and he doesn't try to keep it a secret.

I'm surprised Joe Jackson isn't asking for more moey then $15,000.00! He seems to be a greedy person! I'm surprised he hasn't tried to make money off the death of Michael! Joe Jackosn come around as selfish,greedy and arrogant! Why Katherine is still married to him is beyond me! I know they live in seperate cities in seperate states but why stay married to such a jerk? Anyway I'm not surprised that Joe Jackson was allready getting money form Michael's estate,thanks to Katherine,so I can't seeing it goin his way! No matter what happens he'll get some money from the estate of Michael's one way or another!

Well this is another sad story to me i mean the poor man meaning Michael Jackson went thru all these troubles in his life and now after he is gone his father whom treated him so bad is now wanting money from his estate? I think this is a little rude but I also look at it this way even though his father treated him so bad if he had not treated him bad than I think Michael Jackson may have never exisited. This whole thing is a joke. How on earth could it cost $20,000 a month per kid to care for them for a month??? Or $26,000 a month for his mother? That's insane. These ppl need to learn to live within their means. All their doing is seeing how fast they can run through the money.

As for Joe Jackson, if he gets $1700 a month from Social Security then he should learn to live on it. He's living way beyond his means and has other ppl supporting him. As for him getting any kind of allowance, if Micheal wanted him to have it, he'd have left it for him. If he needs it that bad then let his wifey give up some of hers to him.

He's blessed if he gets $1700 a month and I am sorry although I would let bygones be bygones, when you go through cruelty, it is hard to let it go; And this ought to be a lesson to ALL parents and people. Don't sit here think you can't get beyond anything; you can't. Thinking your kids that you treated bad, they gonna be there for you when you feel they would. For the most part, they would, but if you did them bad, something's wrong. Now, when MJ died, he go around talking and all, went to the BET Awards and got treated better than a movie star; YET, notice when folks asked for a mouthpiece to speak the sentiments of the family, it was Janet and not HIM. A lady I know has two kids; one she adored and one she didn't. plain and simple. but who she stay with now cause she can't do for herself? the latter. But she will talk the other one like he all that, yet he won't get her. He call but that's it, so you gotta be careful how you treat folks. And usually it is the kid that catch it the most that do the giving.

Now when I read this article, I thought to myself, here is another person trying to live off of Michael Jackson, if Michael Jackson was alive, Joe Jackson won't get a dime, this money was all from Michael Jackson hard work, through he years, Joe Jackson see the movie "THIS IS IT" is earning some money, so he want a piece of the money pie, alright lets go though the list, Joe wants $1,200 for rent Joe Jackson you need to find a chaper place to live, that will take care of you rent problem, $700 sound right to me,$2,500 to eat out, now why is one person, need with this much money to eat, cook at home Joe,$1,00 for entertainment now you can do with out this joe get a computer learn how to use it that will be your entertainment,$2,000 for travel you live in Las Vagas, you can see all the sights right there,$3,000 for hotel you can find a chaper hotel to stay in Joe, now this is what we call living beyond your means, you think Michael Jackson's brothers will ask the judge, for some money too??
