Do You Find Internet Explorer Slower Than Google Chrome?

I have had to resort to using IE recently for Swagbucks but still use Chrome for other sites and find Chrome loads pages so much faster and with so much ease, yet IE seems to lag a bit and can sometimes freeze for a few seconds....
