Being a stay at home mom, I am blessed with the opportunity to be my daughter's regular playmate. I do keep in mind to play along and not just watch. These are great bonding moments, a nurturing experience for both of us. These play moments are great investments for your child's well being.

This is so weird, but I was actually kind of pulling for Russell last episode. I thought he was pure evil in the beginning, but the little demon's growing on me somehow. I don't think I'd want him to win, but I'd like for the Foa Foa people to stay long in the game. I don't like the girls of Galu, except for Shambo (and I did find her really dim in the beginning). I think maybe I'm just rooting...

In the Philippines, some of the Christmas staples are:for the noche buena (Christmas Eve dinner): jamón (ham) and queso de bola (I think this is edam cheese) for the simbang gabi (early morning mass from Dec. 16 til the 24th): putobungbong (http://pinaymtchef.blogspot.com/2007/10/puto-bungbong.html) Sigh. I love his work. I actually wouldn't call them realistic. Real life isn't as delicately pretty, lol. I love the way he shows light and his subjects are always so quaint and lovely. I would love some Thomas Kinkade prints to hang on my walls. And my favorite kind of jelly is also strawberry.:)

I don't think they do much monitoring at all. With the volume of videos uploaded per day, I supposed they don't have the manpower for it. They should have a program or something that screens submitted videos before approving its release to the public. They're not very diligent or responsible about the site. I personally do not believe in ghosts. I know there are evil spirits or demons out there, but as far as I'm concerned, dead people go straight to heaven or hell. I don't believe in spirits of dead people lingering. This belief is what my faith teaches.:)

I never throw out perfectly good food. Sometimes, the end of a loaf would get moldy before it's consumed, so in cases like that, I'm forced to throw food out. Living in the third world (or anywhere else for that matter), being wasteful is just in bad taste, if not a complete shame. We really try for food not to go bad, but some of these things can't be helped. I also try not to buy too much. No...

My aim is to spend as little as possible. I'll probably just bake away and give these goodies as gifts. I might have to buy something for people whom I know won't appreciate homemade stuff (must I know/be related to people like these, lol), but the budget would be stricter than ever. Times are hard, but trying to keep the holiday cheer, albeit in a more frugal way.
