I think we should be able to protect our family & property.I don't think that deadly force should be used on someone unless they are threatening violence themselves.In this case a well placed shot with a rock salt loaded shell would have sufficed.

LOL!Sucks getting old huh?Yes, I have had the same thing happen.And,like you I thought back a few years and thought hmmmm I am glad my neighbors never called on me.I have had some pretty crazy parties here in the past.Another thing the way I see it as long as no violence is going on it's not my business.For some reason I just have a hard time calling the cops.
