Don't think of it as a problem. You cannot possibly understand everything, as some things are not meant for us to know. Otherwise, everything would become too one dimensional, too predictable. Just revel in the mysteries of life and the beauty of its wonder. |
 | winddancer1323 responded to a discussion called are there frequent power failures/blackouts in your place? in life. 1 month ago
Not since I moved here, thank goodness. However, I remember the last time there was a blackout in my old house about a year ago. When my dad and I came home my sister was walking around the house with a knife, because she was so scared. It was hilarious. |
 | winddancer1323 responded to a discussion called What Do You Do Inside When Its Storming Outside? in people. 1 month ago
I personally love thunderstorms. For some reason, I have more of an inclination to go outside when its storming than when it is sunny, so I usually go outside and walk in the rain. There is something very liberating about it. Good thing I have a good immune system:) If it's dark out or if it's to severe to walk, I like to stay inside and watch a movie or read, with a nice cup of coffee and bun... |
 | winddancer1323 responded to a discussion called I just don't see why nudity is an art. in thinker. 1 month ago
I guess it depends on how the artist presents the naked body. If it is presented in a vulgar, distasteful sort of way, then I do agree that they are using art as a facade for perversion. However, if it is done right, as many paintings, sculptures, and photographs are, it can be quite beautiful. The human body is an intricate art,I think, and should be appreciated as such. |

I've never heard of people eating rotten dog meat...but I do know of people in the Philippines who do eat dog meat. In fact, my old dog was eaten:( Not by us of course, it was a bunch of drunk men. Apparently it's a common practice. But I agree with you....gross! |

In my experience, focusing on the positive aspects of my life does the trick to cheering me up. Even life seems to be falling apart before my eyes, I always concentrate on what I have and be grateful for it- sometimes, simple things like having food, shelter, clothing, fami... |
 | winddancer1323 received a best response in the discussion What do you do in your spare time? by jugsjugs. 1 month ago In my spare time I usually browse the internet, go for a walk, go shopping, or watch a series on my laptop. I know it's nothing too productive, but I'm still rejoicing at my "I never have to do homework ever again" phase. I plan to get a second job though, or come up with more ways to come up with extra money. |
