I've made these on painted wood before but thinking about switching to canvas. If you had one for a baby's room, which would you prefer...canvas or wood?

I need some fund raising ideas for our areas youth wrestling program. We've done a pop can drive, team pictures, and team warm up suits. We do plan to have a few "spaghetti dinner" type events but does anyone have other ideas?...

Usually this time of year, if I have to ask that, the hubby says "I'll grill something", but this is Michigan and today it's cold and rainy. Any suggestions?
