Yes, it is...everything checked out well for him, other than a small quantity of blood in the urine. They put him on a urinary diet which I suspected they would do..groovy...more money to spend!

@MarieCoyle Thanks, I don't suspect there will be as long as he stays on that food. The thing is I had him on Purina Uriniary food which seemed to be well for him...but he decided he didn't like it after a couple of months. He gets tired of foods easily. I might have to rotate between brands or something. She liked this particular food because she says it has some calming aspects to it, which he needs. That kitty is a bundle of nerves.

@snowy22315 Yes, I thought of that as well, that they would put him on a special diet. So sorry...but I am hoping his problems clear up and you can have a lot more time with him.

He seems good now. He seems to enjoy his new food. I hope that lasts!

@LadyDuck He seems OK. I still don't think he is drinking enough water, but the litter box was a bit wet this AM so he is getting water somewhere.He doesn't look dehydrated.

Whatever is the problem quite sure it will be expensive..

He is, but they want him on a urinary diet. Boy is he thrilled to be home! He told me he had a nightmare about being in a vets office..and the things they did to him were unspeakable! They had to knock him out to examine him of course!

He's OK, they did a fairly thorough work up. He did have a little blood in his urine though so they want him on a urinary diet. Great more money! It was 400.00 for today.

He seems to be doing fine now. Stuffed his face on the new food when we got home

Thanks, everything checked out well for the most part other than alittle blood in his urine, so hopefully the urinary diet will help that.
