Finally Friday

Happy Friday Everyone! it's a chilly and rainy day here today. Looks like a few more rainy days ahead. (ugh)
Today I'm trying to get the vacuuming and dusting done so tomorrow I can concentrate on food preparation for Sundays Mother's Day gathering. Trying to put together a menu can be a challenge since not everyone eats everything.
Along with our Mother's Day celebrating we have 3 birthdays to add. My grandsons birthday is on Monday and my youngest daughter (who lives with me) is on Tuesday and just for good measure we throw in my middle daughter whose birthday is at the end of the month.
Our dessert table is crowded since everyone gets their own cake and we still do the traditional singing and blowing out the candles since everyone is still a kid at heart.
Today is the first day this week that is basically routine. I feel as if the whole week up until today has been discombobulated.
I dont' know how much time I'll have to pop on over the weekend but I want to wish all the moms here a very Happy Mother's Day

Een though it's a lot of work preparing for company (as you know) my greatest gift has always been my children and then grandchildren. It's always extra special when we can all be together.
