IT Advice Needed

Microsoft Rewards won't let me redeem my points. They say I need a security key or use Windows Hello. I signed up many moons ago and used Hot Mail. I can't use my Windows Hello password because I no longer use Hot Mail. What is a security key? How do I use the QR code I took a picture of on my camera? I have no idea. I have tried biometrics on my phone and can't get a good picture of my thumbprint or face. Is anyone else having trouble with MS Rewards? Do they intend to give me Amazon cards for my points? Should I just donate them to charity and move on?

I no longer use Microsoft Rewards. I'm sorry they made it so difficult to redeem the points.

I have used MS rewards for a long time, maybe ten years, I'm not sure. I always have trouble with the passwords and need to keep changing them. I wonder if they are trying to boot me out or if this trend will be for other sites too. If only I knew what to do and how to do it.

@just4him they don't want passwords they want security keys. I know nothing about them. The things I tried did not work. What do you do with a QR code after you copy it?

@akalinus I'm sorry I can't help you. I write all my passwords down, so I don't lose them. The only place I can't get into no matter how I try is Social Security. They make it super difficult.

I am not sure about all that, but passwords changed because they want stronger ones. Try doing a new password request.. Do what it tells you 10 characters plus a number and punctuation sign. They let me sign in and can do many things. It takes a grip of points to make any money. I usually just go for the spins, win a computer or PlayStation one.

I signed in with a password but that is not good enough. They want stuff that I have no idea how to do. It is so frustrating.

@popciclecold Thing is that I don't know if any are still here. They may have moved on to something more profitable.

In my case I am not allowed to answer most surveys only because I don´t live in the US. They ask me questions for long minutes only to end up saying that I can´t do it. They could check where I am only with my IP.

They know where you are. They just make you jump through hoops to get anything. I don't do surveys anymore.
