What are the main issues in the ongoing parliamentary elections in India?

For me, price rise and unemployment are the two most important issues in the ongoing general elections. Personally, I have been very badly hit by price rise. I consider myself to be a lower middle class family man. People of my class and lower than me have been hit hard by the price rise. Even essential goods like rice, flour, oil, vegetables have become doubly costlier. A banana which cost me 2 rupees two years ago now comes for 4 rupees and 5 rupees if it is slightly bigger. This is a fruit I need everyday to give as tiffin to the school goers. I looked forward with some gladness to having a small house of my own. I started building it but it has remained incomplete for the last one year and now I have almost lost my hope of completing it in my lifetime unless some miracle happens. If I uttered a word criticizing the policies of the present administration , some people might come charging at me. Yet, many are secretly wishing a change to come!
