How Long is too long on Prednisone

I Have been On Prednisone for all most 8 months and it has cause many side efficts. The biggest one is the anger and weight gain. This is a great drug but it has many bad side effiects to it. How do you deal with the side effects...

4incomefreedom Let me say right at the beginning, I really hate pharma (drugs). There are other options, just no big dollars in it and therefore no incentive. Imagine, pharma touts that it researches & developes drugs to help people (and some drugs do that) but in the end...
