famouszor Done this. but the same thing. Im thinking its the motherboard, or ram? Overall, Im going to get a new laptop here soon. Thanks for all the help

anyone have a idea why my Presario 700 will randomly lock up or freeze?

famouszor Thanks for your reply. It could be a virus, But I do have a Virus scanner, and a firewall, and Spy remover, nothing is showing that I do. The system just locks up randomaly. it could be 5 sec to 1 hr after the system is booted up.
