Heroes 5 - Sylvan Creatures: Ancient Treant - The woods themselves have risen to aid the Elves at war. Slow, but sturdy, the oldest Treants can entangle their enemies with their vines, roots, and creepers, and they have the additional ability to dig deep and root themselves, making them ever harder to defeat. The Ancient Treant is simply a bulked-up version of the Treant. With a gigantic 181 Hit Points and 29 defense - which rivals some level 7s - it is an even tougher obstacle to overcome. Damage has been upgraded to level 5+ standard to make the Ancient Treants even more deadly, though their attack is still a disappointing 19. The Take Roots ability makes them even tougher to overcome, though they become the target of powerful elemental chains. They are incredibly cheap, too, at only 1500 gold.
