I loved him in The Firm. He was a corrupted lawyer. He was suave and confident. The perfect anti-hero. I also liked him in Night Moves. In this film he played a P.I. looking for runnaway Melanie Griffith. It was a neo-film noir film made in the 70's. He was great. How about you? Do you have a favorite Hackman role?

He has done so many good movies. It's hard to pick just one. I have a couple here of him "Target" and "No Way Out" and I loved him as Lex Luther in the "Superman" movies along with "Class Action" where he played a lawyer who's daughter is a lawyer for the opposing side. Very good movie. He's a phenomenal actor that I've enjoyed in so many movies. I know there are more but right now those are all that are coming to mind. I think my favorite though would have to be "The Birdcage". I loved him as the Senator in there and he was fantastic as him. He really brought the character to life.

In talking with my family about this I was reminded of another role he did that I would have to state is my all time favorite. The Preacher in "The Posioden Adventure". He was incredible in that role. I cried during it and laughed. It was a top notch movie all around and he really shone in it.

I loved him in so many movies. He was great in The Firm and also The Conversation. Also, his roles in Enemy of the State and The Royal Tenenbaums were terrific.

For me it was his brilliant portrayal of Lex Luthor In the original Superman movies. The new one certainly lacked the light touch of the originals and a large part of that touch was due to Hackman. He and Ned Beatty are particularly good together. "I'll be going now. No hard feelings, we all have out little faults...mine's in California". Kevin Spacey, sorry, you are just no in the same league.

I think I prefer his role in Runaway Jury. His character was brutal! The scene in the bathroom, with Dustin Hoffman, was classic and, in my opinion, stole the show!
