In a way I was sorry to see Clyde get voted off last night, but wasn't surprised. As hard as he tried, he just doesn't seem to be a natural dancer.
After learning he was going home, I thought he gave the nicest speech about how much fun he'd had and appreciated the judges. He also talked about how they're celebrities, not professional dancers, so he hoped the judges would remember that as they were critiquing them.
Before Dancing With the Stars I had no idea who Clyde was, just knew he was a basketball player. He came off to me as a really nice guy and I thought he showed some real class.

I agree-- I think he made his point-- they are in fact celebrities-- I think he was really upset when they told him he wasn't even trying- he made several comments on that one- I think he was the worst celebrity dancer-- after all not everyone can be graceful- I think he handled himself well- I was glad that he left because that just means that it's fair- I loved watching Clyde play basketball! He was great! He was classy-- just like on Dancing!

I so agree with you.
Even though Clyde just wasn't a dancer, he was a great guy and fun to watch anyway.
I too wasn't surprised at all to see him go, knew it was happen sooner rather then later.

That was the only part I saw of that show ever, and I have to say that you are right. That man showed great class and sportsmanship.
It was touching how he wished the others well with such sincerity.

I, too, thought he was very humble and nice. I am glad he's gone since he really was NOT a dancer. It just seemed the last couple of weeks he was just walking across the dance floor instead of doing any sort of dancing. BUT...he is correct. These are not professional dancers adn they have very little time to prepare. Soemtimes the judges do seem to take petty swipes at the dancers instead of constructive criticism. The only one who consistently gives constructive criticism is the woman judge (i can't ever remember her name). She always gives a tip or something...the other two just attack sometimes and make fun of them a little.
