My husband used to do it to my daughter but he would twirl her upside down if you know what I mean. He would hold her arms and twist her to an upside down position back to upright position. He used to sometimes do this to her with her legs also. I hated it and told him to never do it again but he didn't listen and he hit our daughters head on the floor. He finally relized that I was right and didn't do it anymore and I won't even let him attempt it with our son.

oh no, poor girl. it's always fun and games until someone gets hurt. i'm like you i always saw an accident waiting to happen and my ex used to hold her under the ceiling fan when it was on and she could reach it. it'd say don't hold her up there and he'd say i'll catch her hand before she touches it. ya right. anyway we argued about this for months. he finally stopped after her arm almost got cut off. why do some people take the risk or don't realize how dangerous things are.

Actually it's fun. But like you, that's a nervous thing to do and to see people doing that. You never know if there'll be an accident after the fun right? But if you really trust the person ..hmmmm nah, you still can't predict what will happen next even the person is an expert.

My family has been doing tossing children up in the air for as long as I can remember. None of the children were ever dropped because we never completely let the child go. The first time my brother did it with my daughter I was scared but she loved it. Now we do things like lie on the floor and allow the children to fly through the air by us raising them into the air on our feet.
