Yes this is what will happen when the Codex Alimentarius takes effect December 2009. You will not be able to purchase vitamins as we know it. It will be a crime to purchase what we buy now over the counter in your local supermarket or favorite vitamin store. Does anyone out there realize what is happening? Do you have a concern about this issue of losing your right to access nutritional supplements?

Wow I didn't know anything about that. GNC is my favorite store to shop for vitamins, without them I would probably be lost. I think its a very big concern. If we are not able to purchase vitamins it will become a hassel since we will have to make an appointment to get a prescription in order to get the vitamins you need. This will make it difficult for people that don't have the money to go to the doctors just to get a perscription for the vitamins that their body needs, which also means more trips in order to get them. I don't want to have to make an appointment just for getting vitamins, it seems very ridiculous to me. Also more costly.
