You know, you read a book back when you were a child or a teen & now you can't find the darn thing? Well, I went online & looked up the book I wanted & today I was informed that a copy was available! So, I've ordered it! I may be able to get it in the next 10 days & I'm looking forward to reading it again. I had a horse I rode that I really liked & the one in this book is the most like her I ever found. The book is called Jellyfoot by Janet Randall.

I too prefer to shop for books online but stalls. You will get any book you want to read on the net. There are lot of online book sites here on the net that even if we may not be able to find the particular book on one site we may surely find it on some other sites. And we don't even have to go from one stall to another.

I love to shop for books, to smell them, handle them, read their blurbs, just everything that goes into shopping for books. But sometimes I just can't find it that way & then I look for it online.

Hmm. Yeah! Some books just smell good.Musky.The last time i shopped at the stall was the bulky 'Gone with the wind'.It sure'd rubbed away some skins off my shoulder. My sling bag almost had me pinned to the spot at the cashier's,i was standing. Then and there i'd sworn to myself, i'd never shop for bulky books at stalls but online. Atleast the n*gger hand out amount they charge for packaging can save some my skins.

I have never heard of that book but I know what you mean. There are a couple of books that I would like to find that I read when I was a kid. One of them was a picture book about a native american boy. I don't remember the name or the author so I will probably never find it. I think its cool that you found your childhood book!

Thanks! There's a picture book I found that I loved back in the mid-1970's called Marigold and the Dragon, but the only copy I've been able to find the seller wants $150 for, I don't want it that bad!

That is neat. I'm glad you found it. I'm going to search for a book I read when I was in about fifth grade. I want my daughter to read it. It was called My Side of the Mountain. It was abouit a boy who ran away and lived off the land.I used to day dream about trying it.

Ya know, I saw that book just last weekend at a goodwill here in town. I'm sure you will have no trouble finding it. Jellyfoot I think mostly was available in libraries. It was in print in 1966
