Any body from China.. Please help.. My Computer does not open..

HI frineds, I am really in a trouble. I have a chineese guest who have a problem with his laptop. When it start, after some times it shows starting windows but did not open.. I have all the utilities to fix this problem, but as it's in chineese language i could not able to do this. Anybody's having any idea will be appreciated. Even i could not format the system as lots of datas are to be backed up. Can i change the language of xp by any means.

Have you tried starting from safe mode If you are able to get inside windows. Just press F8 before the windows logo pops up then select safe mode or you could try Last known Working Configuration somewhere down the menu.

I can log into safe mode, but how could i connect to net. While opening in normal or last known good configuration it is showing Staring Windows... and getting hanged. The basic problem is i could not read cinese language of this version.. Thanks for your suggetions..
