Good discussion braveheartpt - thanks for starting it.
I recycle as much as possible - paper,glass,cans. I avoid using aerosols, etc, I try not to waste electricity. Most importantly I don't own a car and I walk or cycle as much as possible. I've been a member of Greenpeace for years and actively participate in their campaigns.
Of course we need to force governments around the world to act responsibly and comply with the Kyoto agreement (it's a disgrace that Bush refused to sign but not that surprising I'm afraid) but Global Warming is everyone's problem and the actions of individuals can and will make a difference.

I recycle most things that are recycleable and I try to use a lot of environmentally friendly products. I do feel like it is each and every person's responsibility to leave this world a little better than they entered it.

Yes. i am one of those concerned citizens who always tries to walk nd cut down on driving as much as possible.. there are so many things you can do. Did u knw using perfumes and deodrants are also causing global warming. in fact they deteriorate d ozone layer!! use them as less as possible.. infact try nd not use em at all.. im sure we can all stay w/o em..

And you a very right, less we do it´s better than nothing. I´d just don´t get it why people doen´s coment this discussion. That´s bad, it´s a sign that to many people just doesn´t cares about it.

I drive a car that gets good gas mileage. I am planning to go to a college that is in a place where i won't need a car, so I won't be polluting very much. Other then that i can't do anything. I would like to see all the ice caps melt and watch the world get flooded and then freeze like in the movie "the day after tomorrow"
