How Secure Is Your Home?

Burglar - Discussion, how secure is your home? Burglars, alarms, door chains etc etc.

We all know that crime statistics are constantly on the rise and we all know that in England, at least, we are not allowed to attack an intruder on our property with a weapon. So, how do we stay safe in our own homes? What sort of security devices do you have fitted? Do you have an alarm, a door chain, security lights, or some other product? How secure is your home?

Well as you know I rent and actually the Area is very quiet here but I do lock and bolt the Door at night and take the Key out and put it in the Kitchen as there is a window in the Door Apart from that I really do to have much security but I do check and make sure that I have locked up and that every night

Yes, plus I noticed that you have the added security of the gates across the bottom of the drive, which must help. Don't forget too, that you have the added security of a little fella that barks at the passers by. lol. Thank you for your response, my dear friend and Brightest Blessings.

We ahve an alarm system and 3 dogs 3 pistols and a shotgun how is that for secuity? When it is warm enough I always have doors open no one is going to walk in on our chows

my home is secured with an alarm. i know some police advise people not to open doors or answer calls after 4 pm for safety purposes. always keep windows, doors locked. i don't think it's safe to leave them open nowadays.
