I buy where ever I can get a good deal. I don't care if it's Goodwill, Salvation Army, yard sales, freecyle, Ross or Wal-Mart. So long as the clothes are in good shape, look good on me and the price is right then I will take it. I'm not one to go by brands only. I've done the brands bit and most times they do not last any longer the non-name brand. Why should I pay a lot of money to advertize someone else's name across my chest or buttocks? I leave the brand names for others.

i agree with you there, i do the same as you when i was younger in my teens i was into the name brand because the town i grew up in , was all about that.. i moved where i am now and no one care what you wear, i love it... my daughter is not really into brands either only a few, and she buys them with her own money..

When I was younger I used to buy used clothes a lot more because I liked the retro look. Nowadays I tend to buy at regular department stores or sew things myself. I actually prefer to sew something because then you are not likely to see yourself walking around somewhere. I like unique clothes, a boho look.

i do like the unique look, but in clothes i dont like to stand out in a crowd, the only thing i will do is with my purse, i buy weird purses, and i love them.. there my thing and i dont care if anyone else like them or not...

yes why not, i have bought many name brand clothes at the goodwill. $40.00 shirts for $1.50 that were to big, to small, lol, who cares. you may have to sort through junk to find a prize but i would rather send the other $38.50 on fun, lol.
