Okay so...I'm a nut about learning new stuff. I love to learn anything new , especially when it can help me around the house. For example....I read in my Grandma's cook book ( which was very , very old ) a hint for reducing Grease Splatter when your Sauteeing , or pan-frying Hamburgers Other then of course using a lid. Prior to throwing your hamburger in the pan , or your olive-oil ( for Sauteeing ) throw a little Salt in first. ( unless you're on a low-Sodium diet ) The Chemical reaction between the Salt and the oil is virtually Splatter-Free. Or how 'bout this one...Let's say you're filling an envelope and you forgot to put something in it, after you've already sealed it....( no worries ) Just pop the envelope in the freezer for a couple o' hours and voila it opens up without tearing. I love weird tid-bits of information. Do you have any helpful hints??? If so...please Share.

Those are great tips. I love old cookbooks. I have a few of my grandmothers. I also look for them at yard sales. They are very entertaining.
