Does whether or not the store accepts returns or exchanges factor into whether or not you shop there?
For example, if you were to go buy a cell phone and they told you that you only had 30 days to bring it back if it was defective and you couldn't exchange it at all after it left the store, would you shop elsewhere?

That really doesn't affect where I go shopping. I am a very picky shopper to begin with, so I don't buy something unless I either absolutely have to or I absolutely love it! I can understand where that store is coming from with the cell phone, because if it isn't defective within the first month, then the problem is usually caused by the person who bought it. But, I cover myself just in case, because I always buy insurance/extended warranties on my electronics. You never know what might happen with these technologies.

I would shop elsewhere because I prefer to have the option to confront the store or maufacturer if something goes wrong. I consider a cell phone a major purchase because of the contractual plans you have to deal with.
So it matters to me whether or not a store accepts returns or exchanges.
