Post count went down

How many of you have noticed you post count went down every now and then? Did you try to find out why? I noticed mine dropped 4 to 8 posts every month. Sometimes I know that the topics were deleted because the topic posters posted about it wondering why their topics were deleted. Other times I just kept posting since it's just impossible for me to remember which topic was deleted among thousands I replied so far.

I don't think I would notice my post count going down, unless it went down by 100 posts. I probably should pay more attention, but I don't notice. Although, I wouldn't be surprised if my some of my posts were deleted. It seems everyone is getting at least a few deleted. I'm not sure why.

I wonder why too, sometimes I remember those discussions were deleted because I couldn't find them anymore among discussions I replied to. Then sometimes the topic poster posted here that their topics were deleted and since I responded to those topics I know my responses were gone too. But also true that sometimes I responded to discussions with referral links to tell them my experience with these sites

It's just weird how some things are deleted for trivial reasons, yet you find a lot of posts, months old, that are against the guidelines, but still posted.

yup I've seen those too. I think some people just went reporting anything they disliked and this is how some posts were gone instead of the ones that supposed to be deleted.

This has happened to me a few times. I will have a certain amount of posts one day and tomorrow, it would go down by 2. Sometimes this happens in a couple of hours. I had this problem and addressed the issue into a new discussion. Well, I received a few responses and they said that Mylot can sometimes delete posts if they weren't good. Yes, Mylot actually checks for things like this from time to time. My responders also said something about closing discussions. I don't know how to do this.

I'm not sure about closing discussions I think this person meant to say resolving discussions which you can do by choosing BR. I was in another forum where the discussions can be locked so nobody else can reply to them, but never see this happen here.

I think that will be chaotic :) mylot will be bombardiered by the posters and those who responded to the discussions because both sides lost points

Hi littlemel, your post count drops because you've probably replied to something that mylot didn't like such as spam and such like. They delete about once a month I think, you're earnings will drop also

But look here: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1044922.aspx?p=3 ...see,my friend post 3 times same response,i guess because mylot was too slow...i don't know...but if you have this situation mylot will not count those like good posts... augusta

I got a few responders experienced the same, they only hit submit button once but ended up with three exactly the same postings. but that's not why the post count went down though, so far mylot only counted the original post in my case.
