Children being molested with parents knowledge

I know of a girl who was abused by her stepfather.
She told a friend about it, who called Department of Community Services (DOCS) in NSW.
From there, they took her into a room at the school, and called her mother.
Her mother asked her, "Is it true".
The girl (about 15) replied, "Yes, it is. It started when I was 7."
They were taken to a different town, and put up in a motel.
After about 3 days, the mother said to the young lass, "Tell them it's not true. Tell them you made it up because you did not get that bike for christmas."
The girl did that, and the family went back home.
About 6 weeks later, the mum left to go shopping, and the stepfather decided to take advantage of this, and started molesting her again.
The mum came back, went into the room, and saw the girl half naked in her own bedroom.
She asked what was going on, and then said, actually I don't want to know.
Picked up the shopping list, and went back again.
You can guess what happened from there.

That goes past the point of denial...police should be informed and both stepfather and her mother should be charged!

That is horrible. You never know that could have happened to her mother when she was younger. A lot of times in life there are generational curses, things that just keep repeating themselfs. It is because, no one knows how to deal with it and when they cried out for help it was ignored are swept under the rug so to say. I will be praying. God Bless

This is awful that mother should be slapped and her child taken from her.My ex-husband molested my 4 daughters and i found out about it when they were only 4,3,1 and 4 months old.I turned him in myself and raised my 4 girls for 12 years by myself. It is our responsibility as a parent to protect our children no matter what and i made sure i did my job as a parent i did not walk out and let it happen again or make my child lie and let it continue. That is the worst thing a mother could do to there child. This is so sad it makes me cry.

wow that is disgusting that her own mother knew she was being molested and let it continue to happen and even saw it happening!
I was molested by my uncle when i was younger but my parents had no idea until i told my school and they sent the police around to my house later that day, My parents didnt ignore the fact it happened and they gave me all the help and support i needed!

what can i say.
I want to hurt the parents, the way theyr hurting this kid.
Once again, find a way out of the house, get arrested ,make them want you out.
then tell your story again, and this time ,dont back down from it.Make your mom confess to knowing about it ..
go after them leagaly,if you have siblings ,get them out also.
Best of luck to you.

That is sad and disgusting. If I were you I would do everything in power to get that poor girl out of that household so she no longer has to deal with tht abuse.

It is terrible but at least the girl in question is old enough now to go to the police or call the kids helpline if she is strong enough, but that mother should be put in the same category as the step dad because turning a blind eye is just as bad as doing the act.
