Unable to judge on this as it is one word against the other. I would like to think this did not take place and that maybe she is just being vindictive as maybe Peter Brock's ex. wife is. But the damage has been done whether it is truth or lie as the media have it now!

Just the fact that those two people stayed married all those years against all the celebrity odds says it all. I don't think we need to look into their relationship beyond that.

As my darling late grandmother used to say, there are three sides to every story and they are his, hers and what actually did happen. The two people in a marriage are the only ones who actually do know the truth of what happened during the time they were together.
It is hard to know what happened in a marriage and yes it was a shock when I first read this but whatever the truth of the matter is, many people will not believe that he did beat her as she claimed. If she withdrew the accusations, there would still be people who would think he "paid her off" or something similar, so she has done the damage now.

I'm highly doubtful of Heather Mills' claims of spousal abuse. Of course, one can never know, but given the fact that there were never even hints or rumors of that during his nearly 30-year marriage to Linda, and the fact that Ms. Mills doesn't have a sterling reputation, I'd have to see the physical evidence or hear very convincing testimony from highly reliable and respected sources before I'd be convinced.
