philosphy!! do u like it?

why is philosphy such an uncommon subject of conversation for the average person. I do not have always had a tendency to "get deep" and but sometimes I like to be philosophical but .. Why do there seem to be such a minority? I've found philosophy to be an entertaining and even USEFUL persuit. but found many people disliking it at the very mention

yes... i am really intrigued with the subject... really opens up your mind like never before... makes you think about yourself... question yourself... alot to learn...
