When I think of Horrible people, I think of the last person who screamed at me, because they were out of control. namely, my ex boss. I say Ex, because I quit the next nanosecond, after her screaming match. yet I sat there, silently, listening to her screaming at me on the phone. Her problem? well, it seems that she was angry I had decided to take a day off. See, I had not had time to buy my own weather gear to prepare for rainy weather. Unfortunately, I was too busy. Working. The POS company I had formerly worked for, did not supply uniforms, in ANY nature. nore do they supply health benefits, or perks and incentives.basically, they use you up. I do the job for about half of what the local union promises as well. pretty sad. good thing I am Union Now. What would you do in this situation? Would you have yelled back, knowing she was a jerk? Would you have just sat there, like I did listening to her blow up? If a boss was irresponsible enough to call you "selfish", and you knew that this word perfectly fit your bosses description, would you tell them, or just feel sorry for them? (I did the latter choice) Should someone else's hormones ruin your day, or your job? How do you deal with these things? ~Just curious!

I had a boss who tried to make me feel guilty for calling in sick, I had contagious bronchitis and a note from the doctor on it. I worked with clients who had a lot of medical problems, they didn't need that on top of it. I told her that too. I ended up quiting the next week. It was the final straw with her. I was not going to continue to put my health let alone the patients health in danger. It wasn't worth it.

Ok, this is funny, (Update) My boss just called me back asking me if I still work for the company... Putting my assertive little personality on, I told her I did not appreciate the way I was treated, and that I do not like dealing with the jekyl and hyde personalities. She did not apologize, she was just quiet. (LOL!) Understandably, Bosses are human too, I just don't know how I am going to tell her I found a position doubling what she pays, (going Union) She told me she was going to put me on the list. (LOL!) My thoughts, "I dunno." I think working with this company is nothing but trouble!!!

Hehehe amazing how they will never apologize isn't it? I had one one supervisor change my schedule while I was off work and then tried to complain when I didn't show up. Never did get her to admit she was wrong to do it. I think you are better off at the other place. Double pay alone is enough to go there. I doubt they can be any worse then working with that boss.

Last month she made a very strange comment. She said I was expendable, and that she has many other employees waiting in the wings. She has also made the comment that she has bent over backwards for me, and I really have no idea what she is talking about.I mean, I haven't recieved any overtime, or extra pay on my check, so, what the heck? LOL! If anything, I have questions about quite a few of my checks that seem to have been short. (LOL!) Last Month, she told me, "You need to remember who your boss is!" I brushed it off. My main boss is my husband, if she wants to get personal. but, we are that way with each other, anyways! (LOL)
