How to make candles last longer

Here is a good tip that I read in Reader's Digest: Make candles last longer by freezing them. They will burn down slower and last longer if you freeze them first. Do you have another tip? Thanks.

I have never tried it but I do this when I want to get a candle out of the mold when I make them. I will definately keep this in mind when I burn another candle.

Hi gewcew23. I'm interested in making candles and I see that you make your own. Do you have a website where you explain how to do that? Thanks gewcew23.

Oh, that's a really good idea! I've never heard that tip before. Thanks so much for the suggestion. I'll definitely try that next time I get a candle.

Good tip. Will try that. What I usually do with candles is save the wax afterwards and make a new candle out of that. All you need is a new wick, but I think you could make that by running the string through melted wax. I've not tried this before so I don't know. But I see no reason for it not to work.
