Voters are very cautious about changing presidents when the country is at war, so Bush had a built-in advantage there. And the opposition party (Democrats) did not have a strong candidate, so Bush suggested that the country would be safer if he (Bush) were in office another four years. Even so, Bush barely won the election in '04.

America will be safer with him? I think American voters need to open their eyes wide to understand that the feeling of hatred towards them is all over the world. And that was because an inept leadership from Bush. I have been living in America before and I like the people. And Bush just gave the wrong impression to the world that American is cruel.

Iszo07,
Although I am an American and voted in both 2000 and 2004 elections, I'm gonna have to agree with you there; I didn't vote for him mind you, but I wonder too. So I am not offended by your question.

Forthe record I am one American who did not vote for Bush either time. I dont think he really won the first election I think Gore won and Florida screwed him over. Last election the Democratic party should have ran a better canidate then Kerry against him. Bush is an egomaniac who can not admit he was wrong to start this war.

Amen, and here comes another who didn't. I KNOW that Florida (due to the fact of one little governor brother) was messed over in 2000; then as though it was over, it was Ohio in 2004. But u right, the Dems should have had a stronger candidate.
