If you could design the next expansion pack...

What would you include? I've read on the sims2 forums that many people like the "vacations" idea from the original games. I enjoyed those, too. I like the idea that my sims could go somewhere, not bothered by work, still earn skill points, and sleep if they needed too. I would also like to see some kinds gaming theme. They have a poker table already (I think it came with the nightlife EP.) I would like to have a bingo parlor, craps table, and a roulette wheel. Now, I know because it's for teens, and gambling is illegal for youngsters, this probably won't happen, but the bingo parlor would a lot of fun for those elderly sims that need something to do. :) It would also be a great business for the OFB EP. Hobbies would be another fun addition to the games. Toy trains, (they had one in the original), sewing, canning (again, it was in the first game) woodworking (yes, the have the workbenches from Out For Business) but I would like to make wooden things... chairs, tables, bookshelves, etc. Anyway, those are my wishes... anyone else have something they would like to include??

I like your ideas. The thing I miss from the vacations is when you played a game you got tokens and then you could cash them in for a prize. I wish they would bring something like that into Sims2. Vacation was one of the things I really liked about the first Sims.

I forgot about those carnival games! LOL! I really enjoyed those as well. Wouldn't it be cool if the sims2 could go water skiing??

I never thought about water skiing. What about scuba diving? That might be interesting too. They could go looking for sunken treasure.

I think that would be cool too. I have both the sims game for xbox and I have the sims bustin out for xbox. I haven't played it in a long time. FOr the pc I have the sim city game. I need to go and play on these some. Thanks for the suggestion and I hope that one day this will happen.

I haven't played sim city for AGES!!! I don't even think we have the disk anymore. SIGH. I may have to make a trip to amazon, and check it out. :) Thanks for posting!!!

if i can design the expansion pack for sims 2 i think 'SIMS 2 WORKPLACE" i think for me is a good expansion pack wherein you can go and control your sims to their workplace and help them do their jobs and help them succeed in their specific career..what do you think? ^_^ it will also be great if they can add more cars not only private vehicles but also some taxi or a bus that can be use for business, it will also be fun if sims can buy flying vehicles such as helicopter or a private plane.

Sounds good to me! I always wanted to follow my "cat burglar" sim to work or be a "professional party guest" (is there such a thing in real life?) :) I suppose, though, that's kind of what the Out for Business EP does. You can have just about any business you want... toys, electronics, hair stylist, clothing, veggie stand, gym, flower shop, etc. We can still dream, can't we?!! Enjoy your sims!

I think if I could design the next expansion pack, I would do some great modification on the H&M Stuff now and make it into something big. I would love to create a whole beauty and fashion places and stuff for the sims and it would be so much fun. I think the idea that we could organize fashion walks in H&M but I would think it would be nicer if we could have more brands to choose from, like those really high-couture brands. That would be really glamourous.

Sounds like a great plan! Maybe have one shop for "just" the glamour stuff, and one for the mediocre stuff. Kind of cool idea. :)
