I watched this show today called my super sweet 16 and OMG the girl was sooo spoiled! she got $3000 worth of dresses. that was only three dresses... she got to have 200 guests... and she got a brand new lexus for her birthday... I found it rediculous... What was your sweet sixteen like? did you have a big party?

That is so sad...this girl will think that real life is like this...I hope her parents can support her lifestyle when she is 20 and doesnt wanna make $5.75 an hour lol
I am an only child but i cannot remember what i got when i turned 16 (21 was a diamond heart necklace - don't get excited, it was a tiny diamond lol)
When my oldest turns 16, we will prolly help her pay for her driving lessons (she turns 14 on the 13th of may - so we have two more years to save our pennies lol)

This show is way over the top. These girls are spoiled brats and making fools of themselves on tv. Who would spend $500,000 or more on a kids birthday party? I realize that these families are rich but that is a little over the top. My sweet 16 was a gathering with my close friends at a local hotel and we had a pizza/pool party and had fun

I hate watching that show, and yet I always do. The girls on their are such spoiled brats. My sixteenth birthday party was nothing like that and I wouldn't want anything like that. I just had a few close friends and family over. I didn't get a car, I didn't have a band, I didn't rent out a club or anything like that. I had people over to my parent's house and that was it. We had a blast!

That show is just ridiculous. They are so spoiled, they will think everything will always be just handed to them. Even if I was that rich i would not give my daughter all of that. They need to learn responsibility. On my 16th I basically celebrated with a few friends and family at home. It was nothing big but i really appreciated my mom for putting it together.

i love watching that show, because those girls make a fool of themselves and their parents, i can't believe how some of those parents just let their kids talk to them so rudely they would be lucky if they even got a cake if i was one of those parents and my daughter was acting like that, but as far as my sweet sixteen my dad owned a small club so for the night it was mine and about 20 of my friends
