Yes I have too cried without knowing the reason. It's a strange thing when it happens. It catches me off guard. I get embarassed at first, but the good thing is that if you're with someone you love they should make you feel ok about it. They shouldn't laugh at you or belittle you, but rather hug you and let you know they care. By then I'm usually spilling my soul about something totally unrelated. I think that something they said or did triggered my need to cry. Like I was holding it back all along and then I was able to just let it go. It's nice that you feel so close to your father that you were able to laugh and feel happy that you let showed your raw emotions to him.
