of the marrying kind. How did you and your beloved meet? was it at school or the workplace - or maybe at Church? not Church? was it at a bar? I met my husband who worked in the medical field at the time when I was doing volunteer work for the American Red Cross. We had our first date 2 months later and have been together ever since. That first date was 22 years ago.

We met at a tire burning power plant in Wesley, California. We both worked for General Electric, he had come from New York and I from Oklahoma. Open becoming very good friends...and moving all over the country with different assignments, we were spending more and more time together and it just seemed right!

I actually met my husband because of my ex butthead!! They were friends with the same woman. I went to visit this woman I had become friends with after I broke up with the dipwad. While visiting she mentioned that my hubby and her were living together. (not in that way, she was older with kids and needed a place to stay) and he had asked alot about me. The next time I was coming over, he stayed home and waited for me. She told him I was coming over again. After that day, 12 years ago, we've had our ups and downs, but it's always been together !!

to take the ups and downs together, what better thing is there? Kind of like a carnival ride - up and down and up and down (getting nauseas yet??) it is always more fun when there is someone there on the ride with you that you can laugh with - and if need be puke with, eh?

We met on a blind date and instantly knew I had found the right one. Its now almost 30 years later and still happily married. I'm a lucky lady.

I met my husband while we were living in the same apartment complex. His apartment was across the parking lot from mine and we were actually eyeing each other for several months before we finally met. We've been together ever since. :)

My husband and had a real serendipity kind of a coming together. I was exchanging an item at a major department store and the computers were done in the customer service department. The technical person 'Dave' came over and starting chatting to me while he was waiting for a download to finish. I explained that I needed to consider the purchase of a computer to take my writing career to a new level of efficiency. He told me that when I was ready I should call his work associate 'David' because he would assist me in making an informed decision. The first Dave game me his number and told me to call him if I wanted his buddy David's number. I did...I called and David and I started chatting on the phone for hours, and hours and hours. The chemistry I felt was so strong after a week that I when he asked me out on a date I turned him down because I didn't want the 'magic' to be destroyed if we met and it didn't hold in person. After six weeks of chatting about most everything I knew I'd fallen in love with him over the phone. Finally when we did meet I was anything but disappointed. The strength of our bond continued to grow...he asked me to marry him a few months later...I accepted and that was seventeen and a half years ago and we are partners in life and love...and view our relationship is among our greatest blessings.
