Having done some cross-stitching myself, I had to respond after taking a peek. Very nice work - especially the subject. Was it an original design?

Not exactly... I modified an existing design. I changed the girl's hair to blonde from brown (my niece is blonde), and changed the season from fall to spring (she was getting married in May) and lastly, changed the words "man and wife" to "husband and wife" to make it more equal.

The finish product is very beautiful and im glad you are able to finish it, i started a monalisa portrait but i haven't finished it yet, i somehow lost interest in it but now im planning to get back to it..thanks for the inspiration.
