My 6-month old granddaughter had to go today for more vaccines. Her first ones didn't make her sick hardly at all. She was just a bit cranky for a little while. When my kids were little and had them. My older son and young daughter would get red ear, tonsilitis and high fever every time, about 2 weeks from the date of the vaccines. My middle son, they didn't bother very much. My two older grandchildren got really sick after their vaccines. How hae your kids and grandkids reacted to their vaccines?

I haven't a clue about grandkids coz i'm only 25 but my daughter gets what most kids get when they have their shots!
She gets a bit of a temperature & a little bit grumpy which lasts about a day or 2 & then she's all ok.
My doctor told me to expect this coz i guess it's a common occurance - maybe they do different shots there to here in Oz but the ones here usually just cause a bit of a fever & some grumpiness!

I figure the shots are all pretty much the same just different strokes for different folks. All of our bodies react to things in a different way.

Hi Mamacathie, OH yes in regards to vaccines, well some of my children got really sick but especially one of them as she was allergic to something in them and when she had this it developed into giving her asthma. My grandchildren so far they have been ok with them.

Wow! Kathy, that is scary that they were allergic to them. I guess each one of the little ones bodies react to this intruder, the vaccine, in different ways.

I think most of the kids will have some sort of reaction but maybe not as long as others. I guess it just depends on the child's systems. None of them got deathly sick but were pretty sick for a few days.

Congratulations on your upcoming new little one too. Oh your littel boy is such a trooper! That is great. My littel granddaughter just whimpered about 2 seconds and then was back to laughing so it is great when they don't throw a fit and fight.

Isn't it so amazing how each one of our bodies react to these things in different way. I guess that's why none of us are exactly the same. We were all made different.
