What advice or advices will you give to your children?

when were young, my parents would always tell us to get a good education to have a good life. But when i grew up, i realized that getting a good education is just one of the factors to have a good life. There was one show on television from the local channel featuring on what advices have their parents gave them. One of the answers that stuck in my mind was: Manage your finances while your young and able & marry well. I think this advice is really helpful. When you just got your first pay you tend to buy things and forget about saving. Marrying well means choosing your best life partner. How about you do you actually give advices to your children or do you want to give advice to your children? did your parents give you advice? What were those? Was it helpful? do share!
