Opps Wrong Person

Have you ever recieved a private message on here that was meant for someone else? What did you do about it?
I just recieved a private message that was meant for someone else. Not knowing what to do I wrote back to let the person who sent it know that it got sent to the wrong person.
Would you have done the same? What have you done in this situation?

Thank you bludwgz. It did get to the right person, so everything turned out the way it was suppposed to :). I not only got the orginal message but also the reply from the person it was meant for. So I know everything got to where it was supposed to. Does this mean I did my good deed for the day? lol

I haven't gotten that here but have on messengers and emails and such. I do the same thing you did and they are usually embarassed but glad I told them. Did you read it a few times to try to figure out what this person was trying to say to you?*L* I know I have until I figured out it was meant for someone else.

Based on the message that was sent I knew it couldn't be for me. Then I noticed on the bottom it shows you who it was to. I have gotten e-mails etc that weren't meant for me before. That's what gave me my first clue that my ex husband was cheating on me. He wrote an e-mail that was really sweet in the beginning then said something about his wife going out of town. Boy was I livid!!
